The house is located in the best area on Curaçao. Situated in a high-class residential area, directly at Jan Thiel Beach it is close to many attractions. The residential area is called Vista Royal. The address is Vista Royal, Kaya Biskania U21.

Vista Royal is located on a hill. There is always a pleasant wind. From the top you can see both Caracas Bay and Jan Thiel Beach. From the porch of the house you can look directly at the Caribbean Sea.

From the house you can walk to the nearest supermarket (Van den Tweel) in just 2 minutes. There you will get all the food and drinks you would expect from European supermarkets.

The Jan Thiel Beach Area is a three minute walk away. In addition to the full-service beach, there are also several car rentals, a gym, restaurants, beach bars, beaches and of course the beautiful Caribbean Sea. It is the perfect location for a relaxing afternoon in the sun.
The bars and restaurants on the beach boast a hip design, a relaxed atmosphere and an excellent selection of food and drinks. From grill dishes to fish, salads to an excellent steak house, you will find everything your heart desires. There are also take-away options for pizza and sushi.
The diving school at Jan Thiel Beach is a 5-minute walk away.

There is no permanent car available for your stay in the villa. However, it is worthwhile to rent a car for a few days and explore the island. The breathtaking bays and beaches in the west of the island can be reached easily. Also worth a visit is the old town of Willemstad. The whole old town is a well deserved world heritage. The colorful facades of the house, the architecture and the port entrance, which separates the Punda and Otrobanda are truly unique. A footpath over the mobile pontoon bridge from Punda to Otrobanda and back is an phenomenal experience. Also the small, traditional bars (for example, the net bar in Otrobanda) are highly recommended.

You can explore the island and also the capital very well with public transport. It is as simple and safe as in Germany. The security on Curaçao is comparable to the security in a medium-sized city in Germany (such as Paderborn).
